Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patient conditions and implementing appropriate nursing interventions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborating with fellow healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on health and wellness practices
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
