Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, monitoring patients during procedures, and providing quality care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting physicians in cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitoring patients during procedures and responding to any changes in condition
- Administering medications as needed
- Documenting patient care and condition accurately
- Providing education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work weekends and holidays
