Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Critical Care
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiovascular Critical Care to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Assist with procedures such as cardiac catheterization and angioplasty
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health and disease management
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CCRN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, preferably in a cardiovascular setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
