Job title: Registered Nurse - Oncology
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a specialization in Oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to cancer patients throughout their treatment process, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, and offering support and education to both patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' condition, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families throughout their cancer journey
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including oncologists, social workers, and nutritionists
- Educate patients on their treatment options, side effects, and long-term care plans
- Document patient care and progress accurately and efficiently
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (ONC) highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families
