Job title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients recovering from surgery or receiving medical treatments. The nurse will work closely with patients, families, and medical teams to ensure the highest level of care and comfort.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and report changes in patients' condition
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patients' needs are met
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
