Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after surgery
- Administer medications and anesthesia as needed
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care procedures
- Ensure a clean and safe surgical environment at all times
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
