Job Title: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with patient preparation before and after endoscopic procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide immediate care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care
- Document patient health information accurately and thoroughly
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in endoscopy or a related field
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
