Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patients' conditions and administer medication as prescribed.
2. Provide life-saving interventions and support to patients in critical condition.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
6. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. BLS and ACLS certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
4. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
