Job Title: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (PACU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the PACU recovery process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition post-endoscopy procedure.
2. Administer medications as per physician orders.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
4. Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
5. Assist in troubleshooting and responding to post-procedure complications.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license and CPR certification.
2. Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience in endoscopy setting.
3. Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Knowledge of PACU protocols and standards of care.
