Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg / Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med Surg / Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions, as well as monitoring patients in Telemetry units.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and documenting patient conditions and progress
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitoring Telemetry readings and reporting any abnormalities
- Educating patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Providing emotional support to patients and families
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
