Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse In Estes Park, CO
Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team in Estes Park, CO. As a Med/Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to promote health, prevent disease, and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and record vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and Skills:
• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
• BLS and ACLS certifications
