Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) LTC
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility, you will be responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Your primary duty will be to assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding, as well as monitoring their health and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Monitor residents' health and vital signs
- Help with meals and feeding
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Keep accurate records of patient care
- Communicate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
