Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patient health status and coordinate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient progress and document all care provided
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development activities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license and current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
