Job Title: Registered Nurse Med/Surg
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with various medical conditions. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
3. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
4. Educating patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
5. Documenting patient care accurately and timely
6. Responding to medical emergencies
7. Implementing infection control protocols
8. Ensuring patient safety at all times
9. Participating in quality improvement initiatives
10. Providing emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 1+ years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
