Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical-surgical unit. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in the assessment, treatment, and recovery of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and evaluate patient needs
2. Develop and implement patient care plans
3. Administer medications and treatments
4. Monitor and document patient progress
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
6. Educate patients and their families on medical conditions and treatments
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
8. Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure quality care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting
4. BLS and ACLS certification
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
8. Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
