Job Title: Registered Nurse Acute Dialysis RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Acute Dialysis RN to join our team. As an Acute Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for providing personalized and high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment in an acute care setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans for each patient
- Administer dialysis treatment according to physician orders
- Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute dialysis
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- BSN degree preferred
