Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
2. Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
3. Help patients with mobility and transfers.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
6. Observe and report any changes in patients' condition to the nursing staff.
7. Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
3. Certification as a CNA.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Compassion and empathy for patients.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
7. Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and transfers.
