Job Title: Obstetrics RN
Job Summary:
As an Obstetrics RN, you will be responsible for providing care and support to pregnant women before, during, and after childbirth. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare providers to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitoring the health of pregnant women and their unborn babies
- Educating patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assisting with labor and delivery, including coaching and emotional support
- Monitoring and assisting with postpartum recovery
- Providing breastfeeding support and education
- Collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BSN or MSN degree from an accredited program
- Certification in Obstetrics Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
