Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse
Job Summary:
As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will work with patients who are recovering from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. You will provide specialized nursing care to help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patients' progress towards their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to therapy
- Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and coping strategies
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in rehabilitation nursing (CRRN) a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
