Job Title: Registered Nurse Psychiatric Adolescent
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized experience in psychiatric care for adolescents. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the overall well-being of adolescent psychiatric patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adolescent psychiatric patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Provide therapeutic interventions and emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to treatment planning
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in adolescent psychiatric care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of psychiatric medication administration and treatment modalities
- Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHN) preferred
