Job Title: Med Surg/ICU Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med Surg/ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in both the medical surgical and intensive care units. This position requires a high level of critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and provide appropriate interventions as necessary
- Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical or intensive care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
