Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg Adult
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Med Surg Adult will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting. They will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality and compassionate care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
- Document patient care in a thorough and timely manner
- Assist with procedures and surgeries as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in med surg adult nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
