Job Title: Registered Nurse Intensive Care (Neurology ICU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Intensive Care Unit team specializing in Neurology ICU patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and critical care environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the Neurology ICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and laboratory values
- Assist with procedures and interventions, such as intubation and ventilation
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and recovery strategies
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit, preferably with a focus on Neurology patients
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
