Job Title: Registered Nurse Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg department. The Registered Nurse Med/Surg will provide outstanding patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the highest quality of care for all patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and evaluate patients' medical conditions
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
4. Monitor and record patient vital signs
5. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
6. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
7. Provide emotional support to patients and their families
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives
10. Maintain accurate patient records
11. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of [state]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
