Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg Adult team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patient health problems and needs
- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on healthcare procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license
- 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of electronic health records
