Job Title: Resource Nurse (RN Unit Manager)

Job Summary:

The Resource Nurse (RN Unit Manager) is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and patient care in a specific unit within a healthcare facility. They will ensure that the unit operates efficiently, all staff are properly trained, and that quality patient care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Oversee nursing staff and ensure they are providing high-quality patient care.

2. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the unit.

3. Train and mentor nursing staff.

4. Manage staffing levels and schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid RN license.

2. Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

3. Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.

4. Strong leadership and communication skills.

5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

6. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.

7. Proficient in computer skills and medical software.

8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
