Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) ACU, Pediatric
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Unit (ACU) specializing in pediatrics. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients, ensuring their well-being and recovery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Monitor patient progress and initiate interventions as needed
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
5. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
6. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS certification
3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
4. Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
