Job Title: Director of Women's Services - Director of Nursing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Women's Services - Director of Nursing to oversee and lead our women's health department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes. They will also be responsible for managing staff, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance women's health services
- Oversee all clinical and administrative operations within the women's health department
- Manage and lead a team of nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to women's health services
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively to achieve financial goals
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote women's health and wellness
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Master's degree preferred
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in women's health nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines related to women's health services
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
