Job Title: Registered Nurse Hospice RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Hospice RN to join our dedicated team. As a Hospice RN, you will provide patient-centered care to individuals who are facing the end of life. You will work closely with patients and their families to ensure comfort, pain management, and emotional support during this difficult time.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient's physical and emotional status, and provide comfort and support as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care
- Educate patients and families on hospice care and end-of-life issues
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with regulations and policies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
- BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families
