Job Title: Certified Medication Technician (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Medication Technician (CNA), you will be responsible for administering medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will also assist patients with daily activities and provide compassionate care to promote their overall well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Document all medication administration and patient interactions accurately in medical records
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure quality care for patients
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed CNA training program and obtained certification
- Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification
- Current CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals
