Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Surgery/Procedures (Preop/Postop- phase 2)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse to work in the Day Surgery/Procedures unit, specifically in the Preoperative and Postoperative Phase 2 areas. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patients' condition before and after surgery
2. Monitoring vital signs and assisting with patient recovery
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
4. Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patients receive optimal care
5. Educating patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery
6. Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
7. Adhering to hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certifications
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in day surgery or procedural nursing
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
6. Flexibility to travel to different healthcare facilities
7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
