Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - House Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - House Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. As a Travel RN House Supervisor, you will also be responsible for fulfilling administrative duties, coordinating patient admissions and discharges, and providing support to nursing staff as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate nursing staff activities within the hospital or healthcare facility
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations
- Monitor and assess patient care and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff
- Participate in the hiring and training of new nursing staff
- Manage staffing levels and make adjustments as necessary
- Handle patient complaints and issues with professionalism and effectiveness
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred
- BLS certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare settings
