The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to adult patients with medical-surgical conditions in various healthcare facilities across the United States. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patient conditions and implementing appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitoring patient vital signs and administering medications as prescribed
- Providing patient and family education on illness management and treatment options
- Documenting patient care activities and maintaining accurate medical records
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Med Surg Adult nurse
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work well in a team environment
