Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - CNA - Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being and comfort of each individual under their care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments
2. Monitor patients' vital signs and condition
3. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
4. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
5. Perform wound care and other nursing procedures
6. Educate patients and families on healthcare needs
7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
9. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
10. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license and CNA certification
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting
3. Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
6. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
7. BLS and ACLS certifications
8. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends
9. Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism
10. Commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients
