Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in emergency room and medical-surgical adult care to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and triage patients in the emergency room setting
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
5. Assist in emergency procedures and respond to medical emergencies
6. Educate patients and families on healthcare needs and treatments
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room and medical-surgical adult care
3. BLS and ACLS certifications
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
7. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
