Job Summary:
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to women during childbirth. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe delivery of babies and the overall well-being of both mother and child.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor the progress of labor and the vital signs of the mother and baby
- Administer medications and pain relief as needed
- Assist with medical procedures such as cesarean sections
- Educate expectant mothers on childbirth preparation and postpartum care
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to create personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license
- Certification in Labor and Delivery Nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work long hours and irregular shifts
