Job Summary:
As an Emergency Room Nurse at our Critical Access Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in critical condition. You will assess patient needs, administer medication, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and triaging patients in the emergency room
- Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient progress
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures at all times
- Participating in continuous education and training to stay current on best practices in emergency nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [insert state]
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
