Job title: Occupational Health RN, Emergency Room Nurse
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health RN, Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients in the emergency room setting, as well as assisting with occupational health programs within the organization. This role requires strong clinical skills, diverse medical knowledge, and a commitment to promoting the health and safety of employees in the workplace.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and triage patients in the emergency room setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for employees as part of occupational health programs
- Develop and implement strategies to promote employee health and safety in the workplace
- Provide education and training on health and wellness topics to employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for both emergency room patients and occupational health clients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room nursing
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of occupational health regulations and best practices
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
