Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse L&D CST (NBSTSA Required)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse with CST certification from NBSTSA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting with the delivery of newborns and providing care to mothers during labor. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse L&D CST, you will work closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby during the birthing process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist with the delivery of newborns and provide care to mothers during labor and postpartum.
2. Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs and provide skilled nursing care as needed.
3. Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Educate and support mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license and CST certification from NBSTSA.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
3. Strong clinical skills and ability to work well under pressure.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
