Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care or Coronary Nursing, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in life-threatening situations. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate on treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patients in the ICU or Coronary unit
2. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
3. Communicate with patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
5. Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
7. Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and follow-up appointments
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certification required
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
4. Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
