Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Day Surgery/Procedures
Job Summary:
The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Day Surgery/Procedures will provide care and support to patients undergoing day surgery or procedures in various healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nursing and be willing to travel to different locations to assist in providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and evaluate patients before, during, and after day surgery or procedures.
2. Administer medication and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process.
4. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and instructions.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and well-being.
6. Document patient care and progress in medical records accurately.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
8. Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
2. BLS and ACLS certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
7. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
