Job Title: Registered Nurse, Operating Room / Circulate, PACU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in operating room circulate and PACU to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing and be able to provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room for surgical procedures
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
- Circulate during surgery to ensure patient safety and sterile technique
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia administration
- Provide post-operative care in the PACU, including pain management and monitoring for complications
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in operating room circulate and PACU
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
