The Urology Clinic Nurse (RN/LPN) provides clinical and patient-centered care to individuals with urological conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. This role supports physicians, performs clinical procedures, educates patients, and ensures high-quality, compassionate care.
Provide direct nursing care to urology patients in a clinic setting
Assist urologists with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries
Perform patient assessments, vital signs, and medical history documentation
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures
Administer medications and injections as prescribed
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
Manage catheter care, bladder scans, and urological testing
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-ups
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and infection control standards
Active RN or LPN license (state-specific)
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Clinical or outpatient experience preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic environment
Previous experience in Urology, Surgery, or Specialty Clinics
Familiarity with EMR systems
Knowledge of urological procedures and terminology
