We are seeking a highly organized Scheduling Services Specialist / Registrar Scheduler to coordinate and manage patient appointments while ensuring accurate registration and data entry. This role plays a key part in delivering efficient patient access and a positive healthcare experience.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments

  • Register patients accurately in the system (demographics, insurance, referrals)

  • Verify patient information and insurance eligibility

  • Coordinate with clinical departments and providers

  • Manage appointment templates and provider calendars

  • Handle incoming calls and patient inquiries professionally

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies

  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure optimal clinic flow

🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor’s preferred)

  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling or patient registration

  • Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

🔹 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospital or multi-specialty clinic settings

  • Familiarity with insurance plans, referrals, and authorizations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
