Position Title: Clinic Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
The Clinic Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers in an outpatient clinic setting. This role assists with patient care, documentation, scheduling, and ensures smooth daily operations of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and room patients; verify medical history and vital signs
Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed
Perform basic lab procedures (phlebotomy, specimen collection)
Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Handle insurance verification and prior authorizations (as needed)
Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards

Required Qualifications:

Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA preferred)
BLS certification
Experience in outpatient or clinic setting preferred
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

Phlebotomy experience
EMR/EHR proficiency
Patient education support
Multitasking in fast-paced environments
