Position Title: RN House Supervisor
Job Summary:
The RN House Supervisor oversees hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care, appropriate staffing, and compliance with organizational policies. This leadership role serves as the administrative representative of the hospital during evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
Supervise nursing and clinical staff across departments
Coordinate staffing levels and patient assignments
Respond to emergencies and critical incidents
Serve as a resource and escalation point for clinical concerns
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Support patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges
Collaborate with physicians and department leaders
Monitor quality of care and patient safety initiatives
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BSN required (MSN preferred)
Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
BLS/ACLS certification
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Conflict resolution skills
Knowledge of hospital operations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
