RN – Clinical Nurse (Operating Room) – Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) to provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons, maintain sterile environments, and ensure patient safety throughout operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment.
Assist surgeons during procedures (scrub and circulating roles).
Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety during surgery.
Maintain strict sterile techniques and infection control standards.
Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient status.

Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience in Operating Room / Surgical Nursing preferred.
Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
