We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support individuals in a Behavioral Health Unit. The ideal candidate will assist patients with daily activities while ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and mobility.
Monitor patient behavior, mood, and safety in a behavioral health setting.
Support nurses and healthcare staff in patient care and treatment plans.
Maintain a safe and secure environment, preventing harm or escalation.
Document patient activities, observations, and progress.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic interaction with patients.
Follow hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
Requirements:
Valid CNA certification/license.
Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or mental health settings preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures.
