The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Outpatient Pediatrics Clinic provides compassionate, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents. This role focuses on routine assessments, immunizations, patient education, and supporting pediatricians in delivering high-quality care in a clinic setting.
Assess pediatric patients’ health, growth, and developmental milestones
Administer vaccinations and medications as per pediatric schedules
Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and medical history
Educate parents/guardians on child health, nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention
Manage common pediatric conditions (fever, infections, allergies, asthma)
Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
Ensure a safe, child-friendly, and supportive environment
Adhere to infection control and clinic safety protocols
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
1–3 years of pediatric or outpatient nursing experience (preferred)
Pediatric patient assessment and care
Strong communication with children and parents
Compassion and patience
Clinical and vaccination knowledge
Attention to detail and documentation
Ability to handle pediatric emergencies calmly
Outpatient pediatric clinic / child healthcare center
Day shifts, minimal emergency exposure
Friendly and family-oriented setting
Experience in pediatric clinics or vaccination centers
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Familiarity with EMR systems
