The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a clinic setting provides direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians. This role focuses on patient intake, basic clinical procedures, and supporting healthcare providers to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations.
Perform patient intake, including vital signs and medical history documentation
Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and minor procedures
Administer medications, injections, and basic treatments as directed
Provide wound care and dressing changes
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures
Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Support scheduling, patient flow, and clinic coordination
Diploma in Practical Nursing (LPN)
Active LPN license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
1–2 years of clinical or outpatient experience (preferred)
Patient care and clinical support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and documentation
Time management and multitasking
Basic clinical and procedural knowledge
Outpatient clinic / physician office
Day shifts, minimal emergency exposure
Patient-focused and team-oriented setting
Experience in outpatient or specialty clinics
Familiarity with EMR systems
Basic triage and patient assessment experience
